As holiday time nears I have to ask you once again to consider shopping using www.goodshop.com. When you go to the site you type in Soulumination for your charity of choice and any purchases generate income for Soul. It does not cost you anything and could be so helpful in our mission to work with each new family that inquires. I know more people than myself shop at Amazon for gifts and throughout the year, not to mention the hundreds of other great stores. I can tell by the amount raised that currently our good pal Lily and I are the only ones shopping using this simple tool and that seems kind of amazing. You will be surprised it how easy this is. Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Gap, eBay, ITunes, Microsoft store, Expedia and a thousand more are represented. We would so appreciate your considering us in this simple but effective way of raising money, please tell your friends.

Last night I was photographing the first fundraiser to benefit Camp Agape. My good friend and Soul supporter Nanette hosted my attendance and I was the proud purchaser of the Greek Dinner in the silent auction. Each year I fund our Soul office party in memory of my mom who loved the work of Soulumination and it seemed so special to use the money not only to honor the office staff but to support Camp Agape. Our work with the camp has been so very special and I give huge kudos to all who organize and run such an impressively compassionate and well planned camp for kids with cancer and their families.

This weekend Soul photographers Kurt and Heather were out working with new families. Today a mom that I met at the work party at Seattle Prep will be bringing in negatives for us to work with and later in the week we will have another Prep connection stop by to start the process of getting some legacy photos created. Its busy here but I want to remind you that any of you can refer families to us. Our staff of professional photographers is amazing and we are ready to serve.

Of course each missive from now until after the Artist Sale will include something about the sale and today I am sharing a few photos of the work by three of our new artists, Molly Martin (pillow cases), Julie Edwards(baby hats) and Terry Frankel(jewelry). Please join us the first weekend in December. So much work in going into this sale as we need to keep our funding secure. There are at least 2 more work parties and endless hours being spent creating wreaths, wine bottle lights and the new beautiful Soul banners. The prices are very affordable and the selection will be lovely. We hope to see you Dec 5 or 6th. I am so excited that our great friend and former board member Deb Eberhardt will be once again supplying us with the popular yule logs and she has graciously agreed to return us as a greeter this year.

Off to the bike, in love and peace, Lynette
