This coming Sunday is the Trunk Show of work by Tammara and Marina. It is here at the studio from noon to 4 and features wonderful fashions for children. The work is lovely and Doug and I have both purchased numerous gifts for friends from their lovely selections. I am sharing another photo of Soul's Emily and sister Mianna modeling the fashions to hopefully intice you to attend. We have just had our busiest 2 weeks in the history of Soulumination with fourteen shoots completed and 2 more are scheduled, so your support of this trunk show will aid us in providing lasting mamories for these special families.

Doug and I are back from a relaxing time in Sedona. Thanks to my friend Cindy at Salon Metro for suggesting this destination and to the Fogel's for so generously sharing their guest passes on Alaska Airlines. We hiked a little, watched movies and took in the scenery in huge doses. The trip through snow to the Grand Canyon was interesting since I despise heights and don't like riding through snowy conditions, but it was certainly worth it and the magic of that place burns in my mind. Our last day was highlighted by our visit to the home of our dear Soul angel, Jessica. The time we spent with them was filled with emotion and grace. Susan and Felix making us so at home and serving us a lovely meal. Jess' sister Monica shared stories of her life as a wanna be rock star in junior high and their dog, Montana took a rambuctious liking to this cat lover. It was a time of warmth and comraderie and as I sat on Jess' bed and looked around it brought back the amazing joy that surrounded one spirited girl.

The evening before leaving we had a splendid evening celebrating Charlotte's birthday. We have now celebrated 3 years of knowing this beautiful child and her warm and compassionate family. They are like a flame that draws in goodness and friendship and I bask in the warmth of the Sutphen fire. For a few minutes my head was in a place so sacred as I watched Mercer's parents and Lillian and Lauren's parents circle around Cha Cha's bed with Doug and Angie and Paul. My heart was so full of wonder and my eyes swimming with the grief that has united us all in a bond so painfully real and beautiful. You can see the love and grace in the photo that I am closing with today. Besides all the fun, Charlotte's family had requested donations to Soulumination in their invitation and today we are nearing the $1000 mark in donations to honor this special birthday, we are grateful beyond words.

In love and peace, Lynette
