Today I write with tears of joy and of worry. I know its not productive to worry so instead I will ask you all to pray for Jessica and her family as her days are becoming less active and we all must be hopeful that the things she has shown us will make us rejoice in her life. Her mom reminds me that Jessica's healing can take two forms and either will be blessed.

One of my best friends, Joan and her husband Derek (parents of Janus, to whom my work at Soul is dedicated) are preparing to leave for California for a trial that holds nothing but intense sorrow. Please keep them in your hearts as they are heading into a place that none of us wants to tread. I hope for an outcome that will somehow bring a tiny bit of peace to such a senseless murder of Derek's cherished sister.

The joy in my life comes
today in sharing the grand news that Alice and Dave are expecting their 3rd child. I post a photo today of Josiah, their first born who I met just a week before his death. Doug and I have grown to love this family and Josiah's brother Henry is a light in our lives. I also heard yesterday that another Soul mom is expecting twins. My amazing friends Dawnelle(my assistant) and her husband Greg(Soul video man) are expecting their second child. Former bride and groom, friends and Soul supporters Becky and Steve are expecting a daughter in December and my former wedding assistant, Emily and her husband Dylan who are awaiting the arrival of a son at the holiday time. Many happy arrivals ahead for me!

We are moving forward on all fronts to offer one amazing Artist Sale in December. The wreaths are so lovely and fill my studio with a wonderful scent. Tammara is working tirelessly to be sure the sale has amazing merchandise from wonderful artists. The prayer flags are such fun and hopeful pieces and they are being produced with aid of countless hands in the Seattle area and all the way to Montana. The packaging of the flags is very fetching and they will be lovely gifts. November 1st is the date of the work party at Seattle Prep that Brenna is organizing and there many more hands will work to make the mission of Soulumination possible. I share photos today from the prayer flag party, these shots by our adminstrator, Sarah.

I close thinking especially of Jessica, Emily, Claire, my tiny preemie friend, Derek's entire family, and Christian. I send my most heartfelt thanks to Nintendo for the arri

val of such a generous check in support of the work of Soulumination. In love and peace, Lynette
