Yesterday's visit to Children's Hospital was much busier than expected. I arrived to work with the lovely baby girl and got to meet her parents and grandma. She is so beautiful and was a fun and fiesty infant. For one so tiny, she could let us know what she wanted in a most effective way. I was honored to see her doctor also and he is just one great guy. The nurses at Children's always delight me with their caring ways and attention to detail. I also got to say hello to our friend and amazing social worker, Katie.

From this room I went to visit my mentors in palliative care and had a chat which ended with a visit to a new Soul child that we have been trying to record for the past 2 weeks. I was enchanted with her charm and chuckled over the bottle of hot sauce that accompanied her lunch. Her pink kitty and twinkle will stick in my heart.

I tried to visit a new Soul friend and his family, but sadly no one answered when we tried calling the room, but hopefully that can happen soon as Kurt did a great job with their photos and I would love to meet them in person.

My heart is heavy right now with the recent loss of dear Katelyn and Bryant. Tears flow as I share another photo of each of them at the top of the blog today.

Yesterday, I heard from Jessica's mom that there are many more health issues arising for our dear friend. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she has been hit with a lot more. Also, dear Barry has gone home to Montana, his story is told in such a perfect way in the following article:

Someone left pretty hydrangeas here yesterday to start the wreath project. I will need hundreds of them to really benefit the foundation financially. So please share if you have them in your garden or know anyone who does. Again, you can drop them over the metal gate in bags if we are not here, but often you can find someone here at 5201 11th Avenue NW in Ballard. I will work hard to create some beautiful wreaths for the artist sale in December. With your help we can make a dent in the funding of the work of Soulumination.

I close honoring Katelyn and Bryant's lives, keeping hope for dear Jessica, and sending wishes for Barry that he gets to see all his friends as he so desires, in love and peace, Lynette
